Principles of Membership
Membership of the Institute of Clerks of Works and Construction Inspectorate is available to those who hold the relevant competencies and are engaged in any aspect of the inspection, superintendence of construction and/or maintenance of the built environment.
Those applying for membership should complete the required application form which is available as a download at the foot of this page, and submit with:
- Photocopies of relevant academic and technical qualifications
- Current employer's reference, detailing: position held, duration of employment and a broad outline of duties. If self-employed, a reference from a recent client is also suitable
- A detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- The initial non-refundable entrance fee (currently £70) by cheque made out to “ICWCI” and crossed “Account Payee Only." If you would prefer to make payment via debit/credit card, please tick the relevant box on the application
Following receipt of your application, you will be invited to attend an interview, which will be conducted at your local ICWCI Chapter or meeting centre. If you would like further information on what our membership interview entails, please contact ICWCI HQ and ask for the Membership Administrator.
