Relevant Qualifications: A qualification in a construction related discipline, awarded by a recognised/approved awarding body.
Level 4 Qualification:
Typically means a Level 4 qualification as defined in the National Qualification Framework for England and Northern Ireland and the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, or (Level 7 equivalent) in the Scottish Qualifications and Credit Framework, or (Level 6 equivalent) in Rep. of Ireland. Typical qualifications include an HNC, NVQ 4, or equivalent.
Qualifications from other overseas applicants will be assessed for equivalency at the time of application.
Level 3 or Construction Trade Qualification:
Typically means a Level 3 qualification as defined in the National Qualification Framework for England and Northern Ireland and the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, or (Level 6 equivalent) in the Scottish Qualifications and Credit Framework, or (Level 5 equivalent) in Rep. of Ireland. Typical qualifications include an ONC, NVQ 3, City and Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate or equivalent. Qualifications from other overseas applicants will be assessed for equivalency at the time of application. A Construction Trade Qualification typically means a formal qualification in a construction trade through an apprenticeship or similar approved route.
Relevant Experience:
Relevant experience means the minimum number of years (post qualification) with personal responsibility in the role of construction inspection, construction supervision/management, surveying or similar.
